Jelena Jensen sits at her desk trying to grade papers but her mind keeps drifting back to Veronica Rodriguez. She knows damn well she crossed the line, yet the memory makes her throb. Never again, she tells herself. Then the knock comes. Veronica's standing there with a smirk that says this isn't going to be a quick chat. Jelena tries to shut it down, tells her to come back later. Veronica shuts the door instead. She says she liked the "lessons" and wants the next one right now. Jelena flat-out refuses — they're on school grounds, for fuck's sake — but Veronica doesn't blink. Blackmail dressed as a sweet smile: put out or the whole faculty hears exactly what the history teacher did after hours. So now the student calls the shots.
